How it works
From idea to shared link in three steps
No exporting, no attachments, no waiting for a huge file to send. Stop recording, save it, and the link is ready to paste.
- Step 1
Record or upload
Capture a screen, window or tab with your mic and camera. Or upload a video you already have, in MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and more.
- Step 2
Trim and polish
Cut the false starts, splice in clips from your other videos and add music or a voice-over. The original is always kept.
- Step 3
Share one link
Viewers watch in their browser without an account. Embed it in your docs, or keep it private to you.
Features
Everything you need to say it with video
Record, upload, edit and share from one place, with the controls you need over who sees what.
Your screen and your face, together
Pick a screen, window or tab and add your camera as a bubble you can drag, resize and switch between a circle and a square. A countdown gives you a moment to settle in, and you can pause whenever you need to.
A link as soon as you're done
Every video gets its own hard-to-guess link. Reset it any time and old copies stop working.
Upload what you already have
Drop in MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI and other files. Big files go up in parallel parts, and OnScreen converts them to play in every browser.
Edit without starting over
Cut a section, insert part of another video and lay music or a voice-over on top. Export to update the video under the same link, or download an MP4 instead. You can always go back to the original.
You decide who watches
Share with anyone who has the link, or keep a video to yourself. Downloads stay off unless you allow them.
Embed it anywhere
Copy an embed code and put your video in a wiki, a help center or a product doc.
Know it landed
See how many times each video has been watched. Your own views aren't counted.
Made for the updates that don't need a meeting

FAQ
Questions, answered
What people usually ask before they record their first video.
Do I need to install anything?
No. OnScreen runs in your browser. Recording needs a recent version of Chrome or Edge, and anyone can watch your videos in any modern browser.
Do viewers need an account?
No. Share links and embeds work for anyone you send them to, without signing in.
Who can watch my videos?
Anyone with the link, unless you make a video private, and then only you can watch it. You can also reset a video's link, so copies of the old one stop working.
Can I upload videos I've already recorded?
Yes. Upload MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, AVI and other common formats from your library, or drop them anywhere on the page. OnScreen converts them so they play in every browser, and they get a share link like any recording.
Will editing a video break the link I already sent?
No. When you export an edit, the video updates under the same link. The original is kept, so you can go back to it at any time.
Can people download my videos?
Only if you let them. Downloads are off for viewers by default, and you can switch them on for each video.
